Biography
Peter Gibson, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Gibson received his B.A. degree from Swarthmore College in 1973 and his Ph.D. from Columbia University in 1981. He has maintained a private practice as a psychologist and psychotherapist in the Washington, DC metropolitan area since 1982. He also worked for many years as a supervisor in the Adult Outpatient Program of Woodburn Center for Community Mental Health in Annandale, Virginia.

From 1997 to the present Dr. Gibson has served on the Clinical Faculty at George Washington University teaching psychodiagnostic testing to graduate students in the Doctor of Psychology Program. In addition to his work providing individual, couples and group psychotherapy, Dr. Gibson has experience in the areas of training, consultation, psychological testing and quality assurance.
